Marine Systems, Inc. is hiring for a Field Mechanic / Generator Field Service Technician in our Belle Chasse, LA location.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe working conditions in your work area at all times
- Use Stop Work Responsibility to stop an unsafe act Â
- Perform rigging duties on jobs, unsupervised
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs, unsupervised
- Able to troubleshoot AC/DC components related to Power Generation
- Able to Troubleshoot GeneratorPackages
- Able to troubleshoot ATS / Switchgear
- Perform advanced electronic troubleshooting / repairs and interpret electrical diagrams
- Submit parts list for jobs
- Research and reference manufactures maintenance manuals for specifications and recommendations Â
- Write detailed reports using company forms
- Coordinate with supervisor and customer on jobsÂ
- Follow service job protocol
- Perform lead mechanic duties on jobs with multiple underclassmen, when required
- Other duties as assigned
