Job Summary

This role supports agricultural field operations through planting, harvesting, field preparation, seed handling, and other crop-related activities. This role involves outdoor work, operating farm equipment, and assisting with farm maintenance and safety compliance.

 

Job Description

  • Assist with planting, pollinating, harvesting, threshing, shipping, weeding, detasseling, rogueing, and seed preparation
  • Prepare fields and collect crop samples
  • Operate farm equipment such as tractors, combines, harvesters, sprayers, and threshers
  • Transport materials and equipment to and from work sites
  • Support farm maintenance and improvement activities
  • Follow safety policies and attend required safety meetings
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

 

Skills Required

  • 1–3 years of related agricultural or field experience preferred
  • Ability to lift over 25 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and SOPs

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license may be required

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening and background check
  • Start Time: 06:00 AM
  • Comfortable working outdoor conditions including heat, cold, mud, insects, and uneven surfaces
  • Willingness to work extended hours or shifts during peak seasons
  • Dependable and able to take directions from supervisors and managers

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Salary: $16.00 per hour.
