ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A successful and well-regarded, $75M+ multi-state residential services company is seeking a Director of Field Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role within the Lancaster headquarters, responsible for operational performance across six locations — with a defined path to VP of Operations.

The business is in active growth mode and locations are projected to double in headcount and revenue within the next 12 months. The Director of Field Operations will be central to making that scale possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze location and operational performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and lead resolution efforts—regardless of whether a roadmap exists
  • Oversee a leadership structure of 6 field managers with strategic responsibility for 100+ field technicians
  • Drive gross profit accountability at the location level
  • Identify and close operational gaps that limit a location's ability to scale
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departmental executives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated residential services background in field operations, service operations, or installation-based businesses
  • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple locations
  • Able to operate credibly at both the strategic and ground level — with location managers, warehouse staff, and install crews
  • Track record of building or repairing operational processes in a field environment
  • Inventory and warehouse management experience a plus
