MAU is hiring a Field Operations Manager for our client in Evans, GA. As a Field Operations Manager, you will lead field operations by overseeing project execution, managing field teams, coordinating operational systems, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

  • Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Schedule flexibility required due to travel expectations
  • Up to 30% travel to support field operations and project needs

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-7+ years of experience in field operations, construction, industrial services, or a similar industry
  • Experience managing large field teams
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Proven experience managing project costs, approving invoices, and maintaining project budgets

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Heavy industrial experience (pumping equipment, dredging, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment in the field
  • Experience generating weekly operational reports

Essential Functions

  • Lead all field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time project execution.
  • Implement and improve operational systems to reduce equipment downtime and minimize disruptions.
  • Standardize job site processes to improve consistency across operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
  • Manage and lead a field team of 20+ personnel, including Assistant Field Operations Managers, Field Project Managers, Field Foremen, and Field Technicians.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable.
  • Oversee workforce scheduling, planning, and strategic deployment.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching and daily leadership.
  • Foster a team-oriented culture focused on safety and operational execution.
  • Oversee purchase orders, invoice approvals, and vendor management.
  • Manage project cost tracking, budgeting, and financial oversight.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping, approvals, and payroll coordination using systems such as QuickBooks.
  • Oversee field documentation, including JSAs, production reports, and equipment records.
  • Maintain accurate and current operational and financial information.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, equipment rentals, and vendor logistics to support field operations.
  • Develop efficient operational processes to support company growth.
  • Delegate administrative responsibilities while maintaining overall operational accountability.
  • Manage field budgets to keep projects within financial expectations.
  • Approve invoices and monitor project expenditures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Oversee purchasing activities, equipment rentals, and subcontracted services.
  • Plan inventory and allocate resources to support ongoing operations.
  • Own the day-to-day performance of field operations.
  • Oversee team productivity, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Maintain responsibility for operational systems, including timekeeping, purchasing, reporting, and logistics.
  • Monitor budget performance and cost control.
  • Ensure safety compliance and successful field execution.
