The Residential Service Subcontracting Project Coordinator plays an important role in the progress of Tesla's energy service program. This position will be responsible for managing individual service projects for the entire project life cycle, including quoting and understanding subcontracting costs, managing Purchase Orders and Invoices, coordinating site visits for subcontractors, and maintaining project updates and notes. The Subcontracting Project Coordinator also serves as key communicator to the Tesla Subcontracting network. This requires a strong background in renewable energy service coordination and an emphasis on residential energy service. This role also requires strong communication skills and ability to manage various project aspects at a fast pace.
Review project Scope of Works to prepare Request for Proposals from Subcontractors
Collaborate with Subcontractors to schedule approved service work, coordinating with internal teams as necessary
Oversee job closeout processes, including reviewing subcontractor invoices, verifying deliverables meet quality standards, and ensuring timely project completion
Maintain and update the Service Center Application (CRM) to organize workflows, track progress, and ensure system. Manage subcontractor relationships and own subcontractor issue resolution, and manage escalations with internal teams
Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) to manage project timelines and identify process gaps for potential improvements
Coordinate site access, customer/resident communications, track part serial numbers and subcontractor RMAs, and subcontractor onsite equipment coordination's
3+ years of experience in renewable energy operations or related fields; OR 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, Construction, or related field
Experience working with multiple subcontractors for field service work
Experience reviewing electrical diagrams, roof work, and electrical scopes of work
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to improving systems and workflows. This role must be highly motivated to organize and updating the team project workflow. This attribute is essential to this role, and to the success of the subcontracting team
Strong organization and verbal/written communication skills for collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams
Proven proficiency in Operations CRM (Tesla SCA or comparable), Microsoft Excel, Share Point, and Word

Project Mgr - $79,200 - $118,800/annual salary
cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
