Pay Rate: $41.00 - 44.00/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Support Representative to provide advanced technical support for field teams, channel partners, and customers by diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues. This role serves as a technical resource for product support, engineering, and quality teams while helping develop the diagnostic and customer support capabilities of channel partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine systems, electrical diagnostics, and advanced troubleshooting, with experience supporting agricultural, heavy equipment, or OEM products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex product issues using established problem resolution processes, advanced diagnostic techniques, and available technical resources.
• Analyze technical data from multiple sources to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to resolve product performance and reliability concerns.
• Develop and document technical solutions, support materials, and service communications for field teams and channel partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field service personnel and channel partners to strengthen diagnostic and customer support capabilities.
• Support the validation and implementation of production updates and engineering improvements.
• Assist with identifying, gathering, and coordinating parts required for product updates and corrective actions.
• Utilize technical diagnostic systems and proprietary software tools to evaluate equipment performance and troubleshoot failures.
• Travel periodically throughout the United States and Canada to support field issue resolution, machine updates, and technical investigations (approximately 10-20% travel).
• Maintain accurate documentation of findings, corrective actions, and technical recommendations.

Years of Experience and Education

• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Technology Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
• Experience supporting diesel-powered equipment, agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or related mobile machinery preferred.
• Recent graduates from Agricultural Technology, Diesel Technology, or similar technical programs are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience as a dealership technician, OEM technician, field service technician, or product support technician is highly desirable.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of diesel engine diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and electronic controls.
• Knowledge of aftertreatment and emissions-related systems.
• Familiarity with battery electric vehicle (BEV) systems and technologies.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience using diagnostic tools, software applications, and electronic service systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills.
• Ability to analyze technical data and make informed recommendations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize proprietary diagnostic software and support applications.
• Experience supporting agricultural, construction, off-road, or heavy equipment products preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work effectively with field teams, dealers, and customers.
