Description:

PLC Support Manager –  

PLC Support Manager will support customers using our industrial machinery. This role is hands‑on, customer‑facing, and serves as the primary technical contact for troubleshooting PLC, mechanical, and equipment performance issues. You’ll also provide light leadership for a small team of field service technicians. This is a local, non‑traveling role focused on real-time problem solving.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead customer support for machinery issues via phone/email
  • Troubleshoot PLC and mechanical problems (Siemens/Allen‑Bradley preferred)
  • Schedule and coordinate field technicians for service calls and startups
  • Guide customers through fixes to reduce downtime
  • Document issues and trends for continuous improvement
  • Provide light supervision for a team of three service techs
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales to resolve issues and share field insights

 

What You Bring

  • Technical background in industrial machinery, automation, PLCs, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills with non‑technical customers
  • Experience in technical support or service coordination
  • Basic leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organization and follow‑up skills
