COMPANY is seeking an experienced Field Project Controls Scheduler to support the ongoing Plant Yates Units 8–10 Project, a 3x0 simple‑cycle combustion turbine facility located on a brownfield site at the existing Plant Yates in Newnan, Georgia. This role is an on‑site, hands‑on scheduling position responsible for planning, schedule development, progress measurement, and earned value reporting.
Under general supervision, the scheduler performs project controls assignments aligned with their training and experience. With demonstrated capability, the individual will assist with larger and more complex project controls tasks. A strong understanding of EPC work processes and functional dependencies is essential.
Level I/II Schedule Development — Facilitate creation and maintenance of project schedules.
Fragnet Identification — Lead schedule updates, including detailed fragnet development and resource leveling.
Critical Path & Float Analysis — Produce and interpret CPM‑based reporting.
Earned Value Reporting — Develop and maintain EVM metrics tied to schedule performance.
Cost Control Integration — Build foundational understanding of cost processes and their relationship to schedule.
Support development of project risk analysis skills and change‑management tracking.
Primavera P6 Mastery — Expert‑level proficiency required.
Critical Path Method (CPM) — Deep understanding of network logic, leads/lags, and drivers of project completion.
Earned Value Management (EVM) — Ability to integrate schedule progress with cost data.
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) — Skilled in structuring complex projects into manageable components.
Risk Analysis & Forecasting — Identify schedule threats and opportunities.
Change Management — Track, document, and quantify schedule impacts.
Resource Allocation — Optimize labor, equipment, and material assignments.
Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years of relevant Planning & Scheduling experience OR
No degree + 8+ years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience (Home Office or Field Office)
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
