Field QAQC Manager

Position: Field QAQC Manger

The Field QA/QC Manger oversees the company’s quality program implementation as related to construction and operations. Responsible for the successful execution of all aspects of quality control in accordance with specifications in construction phase of projects by managing and assuring compliance of subcontractors.

Job Duties:

• Project Execution:
  • Ensures proper planning and execution of quality responsibilities on projects with Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, and Subcontractors.
  • Ensures Subcontractors are executing project in accordance with company’s quality standards and processes.
  • Ensures proper risk identification and mitigation is conducted as it relates to construction QA/QC measures.
  • Assist construction managers with work plans
  • Coaches and mentors Subcontractors in the execution of work
  • Prepares and/or oversees quality control reporting is conducted timely and in accordance with Quality Process and Contractual Obligations

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in power utility construction management and/or quality assurance in the fields of Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Testing, and Commissioning engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage or work on multiple work fronts and tasks at one time; meet deadlines, prioritize the work, and work independently while producing quality work
• Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings and related standards
• Ability to professionally interface verbally with internal and external stakeholders
