About the Role:Join Wellness Health Services as a Field Registered Nurse (RN) and make a difference in the lives of our patients in Washington, DC. In this dynamic role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care while working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide support in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements:- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington, DC.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health or community care.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care.
