Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
These are field-based positions in remote areas of North Texas.
The Field Safety Coordinator works for GC to monitor subcontractor work for conformance to Client and GC HSE standards. The Field Safety Coordinator will report findings to project site management (direct report) and corporate safety director (dotted line report).
The Field Safety Coordinator will:
Working conditions
Remote field construction setting with the possibility of living in temporary field housing. Expect very cold winter weather and hot summer weather. May have to drive long distances between construction sites. Must be able to wear typical PPE associated with construction work (hard hat, steel toe boots, gloves, etc.).
Typically working a 7/12 schedule with flexible rotation.
The ideal candidate will possess:
· 2 years experience in a safety related role and OSHA 30 certification
OR;
· Five to seven years of construction experience OSHA 510 or equivalent formal safety related training
OR;
· A degree in Occupational Safety and one year of construction safety experience.
AND
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Must be able to pass a drug test.
· Current First Aid/CPR/ AED card a plus
