The Field Sales Business Development Manager plays a key role in generating new business by acquiring new clients, managing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to upsell. This position is focused on expanding our customer base by promoting our full range of products and services to prospective clients, while also strengthening relationships with current customers. Success in this role requires significant time in the field, engaging directly with clients and prospects to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans focused on sales growth and market penetration within assigned accounts.
  • Identify, pursue, and establish strong, lasting relationships with new clients through field-based activities such as face-to-face meetings, networking events, conferences, and presentations.
  • Foster consultative, value-based relationships with key decision-makers at all levels.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and presentations to address client needs and showcase our comprehensive solutions.
  • Partner closely with operations and other departments to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to assure all job expectations and sales goals are met and exceeded. Consistently log all sales activity in the CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive approach to expanding our market presence.
  • Cold outreach at industry events and in response to leads from our industry databases (Dodge, PBX) to foster new relationships with key referral sources as well as new prospective clients.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven B2B field sales experience (2-5 years) with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in managing field activities.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, coupled with strong teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a high sense of urgency and drive to succeed.
  • Two or more years of experience in video, access control, fire alarm or security integration industry is required.
