Ideal rep lives in Las Vegas and works the conference floors 8-12 days per month, generating qualified leads, closing small deals end to end, and feeding larger deals to the founder.
The job, day to day:
A typical work week has a show running at LVCC, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Forum, Wynn, Sands Expo, or MGM Grand Conference Center.
On show days (8 to 12 per month across 3 to 5 distinct events):
Works the convention center perimeter (registration lines, host hotel lobbies, badge pickup, conference parties) approaching attendees with a 60-second pitch and booking same-week demos
Works the exhibit hall booth to booth approaching sales reps and sales leaders at exhibiting companies (the ICP: they paid $20k+ to be there and need lead-capture infrastructure)
Runs live demos on phone or iPad in noisy hall environments, often in 5 to 10 minute windows
Logs every conversation in client's system with qualification notes the same day, no exceptions
On non-show days (6 to 8 per month):
Follow-up calls and emails with the prior week's leads
Onboarding sessions for trial accounts they closed
Pre-show outreach to exhibitors at upcoming shows
Refinement of pitch and demo with founder
