Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a business-to-business (B2B) software company.
  • Experience working in a field sales role in the national security sector.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and partners in project implementation and negotiation.
  • Experience qualifying leads and presenting the value proposition against customers’ business opportunities.
  • Experience showcasing current technology trends and Google Cloud differentiators.
  • Experience with agreements structuring, negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, and supporting multi-year engagements.
  • Experience expanding existing accounts, securing new customers, and accelerating the consumption business with leading, cross-functional teams and partners to co-sell and win together.
  • Demonstrate business and financial acumen, including profit and loss management and accurate forecasting.

Google Public Sector’s National Security Team helps customers assess and deploy Google technologies in support of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and global infrastructure requirements across national security mission sets.

We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $118000 - $172000 (USD) + 150% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with enterprise customers to influence their long-term technology and business decisions, adding value as a trusted advisor.
  • Become an expert on our customers' business, including their software as a service product portfolio, technology strategy, and growth plans.
  • Analyze business drivers, financial structure, customer base, vertical market offering, and competitive landscape to better serve the account.
  • Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to maximize business impact within Public Sector customers.
  • Manage business cycles, presenting to Chief-level executives and partnering terms.
