WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Service Dispatcher to join our team in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching field service technicians to customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule and dispatch field service technicians based on customer requests, technician availability, and geographic location.
• Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and management to provide updates and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet service deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and customer interactions.
• Use dispatching software and tools to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in managing emergency service requests and prioritize accordingly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or dispatching is a plus.
• Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in using dispatching software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Knowledge of the Memphis, TN area and surrounding regions is advantageous.
