What to ExpectTesla is looking for aUtilityField Service Electrician towork across the entire Tesla organization toproblem solveand ensure the success of ourlarge-scaleutility energy assets. Tesla needs a diversely talented and skilled technician ready to move quicklyin ordertokeep our systems fully operational.The primary job is to service, troubleshoot, or upgrade stationary battery equipment and medium to high voltage equipment as needed.Applicants should be self-motivated team players with a positive attitude.

What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as defined by the service engineering teamand Perform tasks requiring a high level of skill and patience
Performrequired preventative maintenance activities onstationary battery systems to maintain warranty coverage
Comfort workingon a utility siteandmaintaininga safety focus
Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic and measuringequipment
Develop and followbestpractices and procedures for various maintenance activities related to Tesla Energy equipment
Maintainhigh levels of communication and feedback within the Tesla Energy service organization; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines
Have flexibility to provide support outside your region andpossibly outside the country as required along with availability travel for extended periods of time covering multiple locations

What You'll Bring
Valid Journeyman Electrician card within the state employee is assigned
Ability to navigate NEC guidelines and knowledge of NFPA 70E practices
Previous electrical trades experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, isolation meters and multimeters
Ability to travel to numerous sites daily and travel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice and flexibility to work on weekends and overtime
Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently
Valid driver's license required

Licensed Electrician I, Ratio - $25.56 - $38.34/hour
Licensed Electrician II, Ratio - $30.35 - $45.52/hour
Licensed Electrician III, Ratio - $35.53 - $53.30/hour
Licensed Electrician IV, Ratio - $40.90 - $61.34/hour
Licensed Electrician V, Ratio - $49.00 - $73.49/hour

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
