Join a global leader in analytical instrumentation supporting some of the largest refinery, petrochemical, and hydrocarbon processing facilities in North America. This is a fully remote, field-based position where you'll work directly with customers, troubleshooting and servicing sophisticated Gas Chromatography (GC) and Elemental Analyzer systems.
Install, commission, maintain, and repair analytical instrumentation
Troubleshoot and resolve complex GC and Elemental Analyzer issues
Perform instrument calibration, validation, and preventative maintenance
Support customers on-site and remotely
Manage service documentation, reporting, and parts inventory
Collaborate with internal technical specialists and engineering teams
Build strong customer relationships and ensure exceptional service
Strong Gas Chromatography (GC) troubleshooting and repair experience
Excellent customer-facing communication skills
Ability to travel 80–90%+ throughout California, Nevada, and occasionally nationwide
Ability to pass DISA and background screening requirements
Field Service Engineer experience supporting GC or GC/MS systems
Petrochemical, refinery, or laboratory experience
Elemental Analyzer experience (Sulfur, Nitrogen, Hydrogen analysis)
Board-level instrument troubleshooting and repair
ASTM testing application experience
Chemistry degree or related technical background

This is a role that travels 80-100 % of the time - located in the Greater Los Angeles area with significant travel to customer sites. Candidates must reside within the territory.
