Role Description The Field Service Engineer/Controls Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tempe, AZ. This role focuses on installing, commissioning, and servicing automated equipment and control systems at customer facilities, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing technical support to customers in person and remotely. The engineer will interpret schematics and technical documentation, make configuration changes to PLCs or other control systems, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement improvements. The role includes documenting service activities, training customer personnel on proper operation and maintenance, and representing Delta Technology professionally to support strong, long-term customer relationships.\n

- Demonstrated field service experience with industrial automation or controls equipment, including on-site installation and commissioning.

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLCs and related hardware.

- Working knowledge of robotics, motion control, sensors, and industrial networking is highly beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
