Industry: OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)Travel: 80%Oliver Carol Recruitment is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer for our client in the Chicago area. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong technical background in engineering or robotics, eager to tackle various challenges in the field. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment, interact directly with customers, and travel extensively across the U.S., Canada, and occasionally Mexico and Europe.What You'll Be Doing:Installation & Repair: Install systems and upgrades, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair equipment at customer sites and their in-house workshop.Customer Support: Provide technical support, assess maintenance needs, and assist in generating quotations and orders.Training: Develop and deliver training programs for customers and internal teams.Project Involvement: Participate in special projects such as product development and sales demonstrations.Travel: Extensive travel within the U.S. and Canada (70-80%), with occasional trips to Mexico and Europe.What We're Looking For:Education & Experience: Associate's degree in engineering, robotics, or a related technical field. Equivalent training or experience in electrical, mechanical, or similar fields is also acceptable.
