Job Details Level: ExperiencedLocation: Minneapolis, MNPosition Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $28.00 - $33.00 hourlyTravel Percentage: Up to 50%Shift: DayCompany Overview EMSAR, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is a national technical services company providing maintenance, repair, and installation services to OEMs in Healthcare, Laboratory, Self‑Service Kiosk, and Critical Power sectors.Core Responsibilities On‑site technical field support, including maintenance & repairFDA field change orders (recalls)Bench repair and remanufacturingInstallationCall centerContract manufacturing and logisticsFDA compliance and validationProject managementTraining and educationPerform testing, calibration, verification, preventive maintenance, installation, and repair services on laboratory instrumentation, medical testing devices, kiosk equipment, power three‑phase high voltage UPS, distribution equipment, and other EMSAR and client equipment.Serve as client‑facing representative, establishing close communication with customers.Provide intermediate level engineer support and service work.Ensure customer satisfaction and quality practices specified by EMSAR and product vendors.Manage work orders and document work in EMSAR's CMMS.Report service status and escalations accurately and timely.Maintain a professional appearance, tools, and equipment.Control and maintain all EMSAR assets.Promote teamwork and cooperation with EMSAR associates and partner staff.Work regularly with dispatcher for work assignments.Maintain a safe work environment, following safety instructions/training and using safety equipment.Operate on-site at client facilities and provide on‑the‑job support to entry‑level technicians.Follow client quality requirements and apply appropriate quality system processes.Perform additional duties as needed or assigned by supervisor/manager.Personal Characteristics and Fit Analytical: Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals, service manuals, policies, and procedures.Follow instructions and pre‑established guidelines for job functions; have intermediate field service and/or technical experience.Oral and written communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.Interpersonal: Effective communication that fosters positive internal and external relationships.Planning and organizing: Prioritize and plan activities, using time efficiently.Knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures for field service engineering.Works independently with some direct supervision.Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years technical experience; valid driver license and liability insurance; ability to drive personal, fleet, and/or rental vehicles.OR Associate's degree or higher and/or Trade school degree and 1+ years technical experience (internship, externship, apprenticeship acceptable); valid driver license and liability insurance; ability to drive personal, fleet, and/or rental vehicles.Work Environment and Physical Demands Extensive periods sitting at a computer terminal to document services.Extensive periods standing and walking while performing services.Frequent bending, squatting, and stair climbing.Use both hands without restriction; manipulate small hand tools.Lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 125 pounds without assistance.Regional day and overnight travel required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
