Field Service Engineer II

Field Service Engineer – Electromechanical & PLC ControlsLocation: Southeast Region (OK, AR, TX, TN, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC)Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and PLC-based equipment (AllenBradley, Modicon, etc.)Provide on-site customer support, including emergency service calls, maintenance, and equipment upgrades.Program, modify, and debug PLC code and robotic applications.Train and mentor field service technicians on equipment and controls.Develop and submit detailed service reports, including program updates and drawings.Work independently and with teams to complete projects efficiently and on time.Requirements3+ years of expert-level PLC programming skills (AllenBradley and other PLC systems).3+ years of strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.3+ years of electro‑mechanical field service experience.3+ years of MSOffice products and Operating Systems (e.g., Windows XP).Valid driver's license.Reliable transportation to a major airport (must be within a one‑hour commute of nearest airport).Willingness to travel 95% of the time throughout the Southeast United States.Desired QualificationsTechnical degree and/or certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical, electronics or similar.Experience maintaining Honeywell Intelligrated material handling equipment.Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service abilities.BenefitsIn addition to a performance-driven salary, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer-subsidized Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance; Short-Term and Long-Term Disability; 401(k) match; Flexible Spending Accounts; Health Savings Accounts; EAP; and Educational Assistance; Parental Leave; Paid Time Off (vacation, personal business, sick time, and parental leave); and 12 Paid Holidays.Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
