Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Engineering Technician to support engineering activities involving the design, fabrication, integration, testing, and sustainment of electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role includes hands-on technical work, system troubleshooting, customer support, and assisting with product installation and upgrades in a defense-focused environment.
Perform technical functions supporting system design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems
Assist with experimental design, circuitry development, and prototype modeling
Support system fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical devices
Conduct on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment
Provide technical support to customers regarding operational and maintenance aspects of systems
Update system drawings and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed
Basic computer and networking skills
Solid electronics and electrical knowledge
Strong mechanical aptitude
Cable fabrication skills
U.S. Citizenship required
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required with Top Secret eligibility
Formal electronics training
Cable fabrication training
Basic electrical training and knowledge
Integration training and experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to train and mentor personnel
10–20% travel required
