The Field Service Engineer provides expert installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance support to ensure reliable machine performance and high customer satisfaction.
Looking for candidates with experience installing and servicing Horizontal or Vertical Machining Centers.
Key Responsibilities
Install CNC machine tool systems and all accessories at customer sites
Troubleshoot and identify causes of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or application issues
Coordinate resolutions and suggest repairs or replacements for CNC tools
Provide on-site and remote support to customers, distributors, and colleagues
Manage projects and deliver training as needed
Assist with trade shows and service support as required
Travel 100%, including overnight and occasional weekend trips
Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years machine tool maintenance/technology experience (electrical and mechanical), metal cutting machinery preferred
5+ years installation/maintenance of machining centers, including CNC geometry checks and adjustments, metal cutting machinery preferred
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years remote technical support in the machine tool industry
Knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting, control systems, FANUC Controls, and power circuits
Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
OSHA-10 Certification in General Industry or Construction
