Description

Install and repair our complete product line of Navy and Commercial ship board products. Supervise others in the installation on board including running cables, mounting equipment, terminating wires, test the system, commission it and provide crew training. Go on sea trials to verify its operation and calibration. This work can be carried out Worldwide. EMS provides full training on our products. While not in the field, the candidate will work from our New Jersey office with our design engineering group in manufacturing, design and production of new products.

Requirements

The candidate should have a background in electronics an AAS, BS or equivalent experience. Navy or shipyard background a plus. Should be familiar with all basic test equipment e.g. meters, oscilloscopes. Past experience with PLC'S sensors, temp, pressure, flow, level a plus. Experience in machinery such as diesel engines, generators and switchboards a Plus. Past military experience a plus such as Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine a plus.
