Description
Field Service Engineer Matec Instrument Companies
If you know how machines work—and enjoy figuring out why they don’t—this is your kind of role.
Matec builds complex ultrasonic testing systems used by major aerospace and industrial manufacturers. This isn’t repetitive service work. Every system is different. Every problem requires real thinking.
You’ll be the person customers rely on when things get technical.
What You’ll Do:
Troubleshoot and fix complex electro-mechanical systems (remote + on-site)
Travel (30–50%) across the U.S. and internationally
Commission multi-axis motion systems
Diagnose issues with motors, motion control, and instrumentation
Repair, modify, and install equipment in real-world environments
What You Bring:
3–5 years in manufacturing, field service, or machine building
Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
Experience with motors, motion control, robotics, or automation
