Field Service Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to perform on-site and in-house servicing, repair, and installation of their products. This role is crucial for maintaining equipment that aligns with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections at subcontractor facilities.
• Provide technical support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Serve as the primary contact for technical and service-related issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures.
• Determine the most cost-effective repair or resolution.
• Prepare detailed service reports for internal and external customers.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and resolve less complex problems immediately.

Qualifications

• Proficient in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.
• Strong command of English literacy.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Skilled in using typical hand and power tools.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; or Associate degree or technical certificate in electromechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance technology, or equivalent military training preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• Experience with air pollution control or water and wastewater treatment equipment a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 or similar safety training a plus.

Work Environment

• Ability to travel up to 50%.
