The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Lead with a strong background in electrical systems to oversee field operations, support service teams, and ensure high-quality customer service. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and leadership skills to manage field technicians, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and coordinate with clients and internal teams.

What you will do?

  • Lead and support field service technicians in performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving support.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily service activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate field technicians to strengthen team capabilities and performance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and customers to resolve service needs and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process, equipment, or training enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical field service, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, controls, power distribution, and automation equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • OSHA or other relevant safety certifications a plus.
  • Primarily field-based with regular travel to customer sites.
  • Requires the ability to work in industrial, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
  • May require overtime, weekend, or on-call support depending on service demands.
