Field Service Manager - Luxury Residential Remodeling

Unique high end home remodeling contractor that services high net worth individuals is looking for a highly organized Field Service Manager to lead Maintenance and Small Projects requests as they arise from one of the many repeat high end customers we have. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of multi-skilled technicians and specialty vendors, ensuring that high-end homeowners receive prompt, white-glove service for everything from preventive maintenance to quick-turn repairs. You will bridge the gap between office-based scheduling and on-site execution to maintain our standard of excellence across the entire portfolio.

The Field Service Manager is the "orchestrator " of the company's ongoing service division, managing a high volume of smaller-scale maintenance tasks and repair projects across multiple luxury properties simultaneously.

Field Service Manager Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate the daily dispatch and routing of field technicians using Field Service Management (FSM) software to maximize efficiency and meet strict client arrival windows.
  • Service Excellence: Manage the entire service delivery lifecycle, from the initial intake of a work order through successful completion and client sign-off.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, conducting regular performance reviews and "ride-alongs " to ensure quality and brand consistency.
  • Small Project Estimation: Conduct site visits for "small project " requests (e.g., deck repairs, cabinetry updates) to define scope, provide accurate estimates, and source necessary materials.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance clients, addressing escalations promptly and maintaining proactive communication regarding service status.
  • Inventory & Fleet Oversight: Oversee the stocking and maintenance of service vehicles and manage the inventory of common high-end hardware and parts to ensure "first-time fix " readiness.
Field Service Manager Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 3 5+ years of experience in residential service management, property management, or maintenance operations, preferably within the luxury market.
  • Technical Knowledge: Broad understanding of residential systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry) with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues alongside technicians.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with scheduling and CRM platforms (e.g., Jobber, ServiceTitan, or Housecall Pro).
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a "service-first " mindset, capable of managing demanding high-net-worth client expectations with professionalism.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Construction Management is preferred.
