Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of field service mechanic in our Cedar City location.
Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries.
Responsibilities:
- Daily work on crushers, screens, conveyors
- Interaction with customers on-site for repairs
- Diagnose and repair various heavy equipment machinery
- utilize all technical support resources in troubleshooting and identifying parts needed for repair
- Organize and document service visits and travel as applicable
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize work with minimal supervision
- Inspect crushers, screens, conveyors
- Cleaning crushers, screens, conveyors
- Drive motor vehicles - reliable transportation required
Qualifications:
- Crusher or Heavy Equipment experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- Familiarity with shop and field safety protocols
- Technical school certificate or equivalent experience
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or ability to obtain a CDL
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay based on experience ($26.00-$35.00/hr starting)
