MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Field Service Mechanic in the Raleigh NC area.

The successful Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment. This is a Remote/Resident Field Mechanic opening, meaning service vehicles will be taken home and Mechanics will be dispatched remotely.<\/span>

Compensation:<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • $30.00 - $45.00/hour. Higher wages available based on experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • $1500.00 sign on bonus available.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Field service vehicle, gas card, company cell phone.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>

    Shift:<\/span>

    • Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7AM start time. Overtime available.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      Qualifications:<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/div>
      • 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience working in the field.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Able to work independently.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Education from an accredited Technical School is preferred, not required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Valid driver's license in good standing required, CDL preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Able to pass pre -employment background checks.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Has basic to full set of hand tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
