We are looking for a Field Service Repair & Maintenance Technician in Springfield, IL!
$27.00 per hour Mileage reimbursement Full-time | Monday - Friday | 40 hours a week
Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and being on the move instead of sitting behind a desk all day? We're looking for a Field Service Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team and support customers throughout the local area.
In this role, you'll travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Ricoh commercial and industrial printers and copiers. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to work independently while providing exceptional service to clients.
What You'll Be Doing
Travel to customer locations throughout the Springfield, Champaign, Peoria, Decatur, Bloomington and Mattoon, IL area
Diagnose and repair Ricoh commercial and industrial printers and copiers
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment installations
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hardware-related issues
Configure equipment and ensure proper operation
Provide professional customer service during on-site visits
Accurately document service activities and completed work
What We're Looking For
We're interested in candidates who have experience in one or more of the following:
Field service or equipment repair
Mechanical troubleshooting
Electrical troubleshooting
Electromechanical repair
Industrial equipment maintenance
Automotive repair
Military technical experience
Manufacturing maintenance

Important Requirements
Valid driver's license
Reliable personal vehicle
Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
Comfortable working independently in the field
Ability to lift, move, and work with equipment as needed
This is a hands-on field service role focused on repairing and maintaining physical equipment
