Field Service Representative

Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our range of electro-mechanical systems at customer sites. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of systems, including but not limited to [list specific systems].
• Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored technical support.
• Train customers on the operation and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Document service activities, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with internal teams to escalate complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, while performing field service activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electro-mechanical technology to enhance service delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in servicing electro-mechanical and software systems.
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and techniques for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines.
• 50% travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands of Position:

• Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
• Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information.
