Primary duties will include:

FirstDiv is currently seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) III to support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) acquisition fielding program in support of Fleet Marine Force operations worldwide. The FSR will serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, fielding, and lifecycle sustainment support to operational Marine Corps units. Responsibilities include system maintenance, equipment issuance, installation, and recovery, New Equipment Training (NET), and support for test and demonstration events. The FSR will support operations in garrison and austere/deployed environments, as required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical support for all PNT system variants, including MAPS, DAPS, and DMS.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PNT systems and associated components at the organizational and field maintenance level.
  • Inspect, issue, recover, and maintain accountability of PNT system components in accordance with applicable client directives, technical manuals, and established procedures.
  • Verify systems are complete in accordance with SL3 requirements upon receipt from OEM, prior to issuance, and following recovery.
  • Perform operational checks, fault isolation, configuration updates, and system upgrades, as required.
  • Support the maintenance, issuance, installation, and recovery of PNT systems and associated equipment.
  • Install and integrate electronic systems onto various USMC vehicle platforms in accordance with technical manuals and approved installation procedures.
  • Deliver New Equipment Training (NET) to Marine units and end users on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PNT systems.
  • Utilize CMPro (inventory management system) to document logistics actions, maintenance activities, work orders, and asset accountability records.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project officers, OEM representatives, engineers, logistics personnel, Marine units, and other program stakeholders.
  • Support test, demonstration, fielding, and sustainment events in support of program and operational requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable safety, security, maintenance, and accountability procedures while supporting mission requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of maintenance and repair experience supporting advanced military electronic systems.
  • Working knowledge of electronic warfare (EW), RF systems, military communications, and electronics principles.
  • Experience supporting EW/RF family of systems with field-level maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in system diagnostics, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and replacement of defective components.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting, coordination, operational feedback, and customer interaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications.
  • Experience utilizing CMPro is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership in support of operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting USMC systems, programs, or operational units.
  • Experience supporting PNT, EW, RF, or tactical communications systems.
  • Prior military experience, preferably within communications, electronics maintenance, EW, or related occupational fields.
  • Experience supporting fielding events, New Equipment Training (NET), operational testing, or sustainment activities.
  • Familiarity with USMC maintenance, logistics, and accountability processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of relevant experience, OR prior military service with four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of training, fielding, maintenance, and operational requirements (minimum 20% annually).
  • Must be capable of lifting equipment up to 50 lbs and working in warehouse, field, and operational environments.
