Field Service

General Position Summary This position is responsible for deploying and supporting Flow Oven during installation and post installation. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining equipment, with specific Field Service Technician job duties.

Essential Job Functions

• Installing or upgrading equipment maintained by the company in various field locations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Document installation and repairs in a service system.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and provide appropriate warranty services to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain all tools used during service calls.
• Manage and track parts and tools, ensuring availability for service tasks.
• Provide part identification assistance for customers, distributors, Field Service Engineers, as well as other employees and departments.
• Train customer personnel in equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Interact and collaborate with customers and internal associates.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, avoid injuries and damage to property, loss of unused materials and clean-up of work.
• Must have a valid driver's license to be able to operate a company owned vehicle to perform jobs at various customers in nearby states.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Work Experience

• AA/AS degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited two-year educational institution or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Three(3) years of direct, firsthand experience operating and maintaining SMT and/or Through-Hole related machines/ equipment, including routine upkeep and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read bills of materials (BOM), schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must be bilingual English and Spanish.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain calm and collected composure.
• Must adhere to appropriate office etiquette and protocol.
• Time management skills to handle appointments efficiently and stay on schedule.
• Ability and willingness to do extended travel on short notice.
• Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.
