Field Service Supervisor - Industrial Mechanical Systems

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead and support our industrial mechanical field operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned mechanical professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, supporting field teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk job. You'll serve as the technical resource for field crews, help resolve installation and mechanical issues, oversee quality, and mentor technicians while working on critical mechanical systems that support healthcare and institutional facilities.
What You'll Do
- Supervise industrial mechanical and HVAC installation, retrofit, and service projects in the field
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to field technicians
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems and assist with complex installation challenges
- Ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, safety regulations, and applicable codes
- Perform quality control inspections throughout project execution
- Mentor and develop technicians to improve technical skills and workmanship
- Coordinate daily field activities with project managers, office staff, subcontractors, and customers
- Manage schedules, manpower, materials, and project workflow
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience with industrial mechanical or HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment and systems, including:
- Boiler systems
- Chilled water systems
- Hydronic systems
- Steam systems
- Mechanical piping
- Pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related mechanical equipment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical system issues
- Previous leadership, foreman, superintendent, project engineer, or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and construction documents
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
