As a Field Service Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair humidification, dehumidification, and evaporative cooling systems at customer sites. This role is primarily mechanical, with some computer-based troubleshooting. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact directly with customers and provide clear instructions both in person and over the phone.
With increasing demand for humidity control solutions, especially for improving workplace health and equipment longevity, the commercial division is expanding rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
??Install humidification and water treatment systems according to specifications.
??Perform maintenance and repairs using factory procedures.
??Operate and maintain inventory for a company-owned service vehicle.
??Complete service reports and customer paperwork accurately and on time.
??Work in a variety of environments, including restricted spaces, outdoor installations, and occasional aerial work (rooftops, ladders, scissor lifts).
??Handle physical tasks, including frequent standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
What We're Looking For:
??Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus).
??Strong communication and customer service skills.
??Ability to read schematics and chase wires when necessary.
