We are hiring a Field Service Technician for our location in Ohio.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of aerospace test stands at our customer’s site
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customer service
Maintain accurate records of service activities and manage tooling and support equipment
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance service delivery
Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
Requirements
Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science or High School Diploma/Technical Certificate with 3+ years of relevant experience
Strong technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in time-critical environments
Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel up to 60% across North America — domestic US & Canada; periodic international (Austria, Mexico, Latin America)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred
AME license (like FAA A&P or Transport Canada)
Experience with GSE certification and regulatory requirements
Background in avionics or electronic test systems
Experience with airline QA processes or military aviation
