Field Service Technician: Caledonia, IL
Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and support industrial machinery at customer facilities. This position offers travel, excellent earning potential through overtime, and the opportunity to become a trusted technical expert for customers across a variety of industries. Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery at customer locations
Travel throughout North America to provide on-site technical support
Train customer personnel on machine operation and preventative maintenance
Provide remote technical support via phone and email
Complete service documentation and reports
Assist with machine testing and production support when working in-house
Partner with customers and internal teams to quickly resolve technical issues while delivering outstanding service
Skills & Experience:
**Education
**: HSD, required
; Technical training, trade school, or Associate degree in a related field, preferred
**Experience
**: 3+ years of field service, industrial maintenance, or related technical experience, required
**Knowledge:
Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills, PLCs, motors, drives, pneumatics, & industrial control systems,
required
**
**Software:
**Rockwell/RS Logix, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks, preferred
