About Keystone, a Scientific Safety Alliance company

Keystone has tested and certified controlled environments for over 25 years. When we started Keystone, we serviced Virginia and the surrounding areas. Today we service the East Coast. Our team has over 100 collective years of experience in the industry, serving more than 200 pharmaceutical, university, research, and advanced manufacturing clients.

We test, certify, and service all controlled environments, including cleanrooms, biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, and isolators. We provide biosafety cabinet, cleanbench, and fume hood reports same-day, and turn around electronic cleanroom reports in two weeks. For any emergency, we can get a technician to your site quickly.

The Position & Opportunity

We are trusted advisors to our customers on critical patient safety matters, so our technicians are rigorously trained as controlled environment subject matter experts for 6-18 months. After the first year, technicians are sponsored for NSF accreditation to validate their competency.

Technicians are responsible for performance testing, certification, maintenance, and repair/troubleshooting of controlled environment equipment and cleanrooms used in biotech, med-tech, and healthcare. The work is performed at customer sites, and technicians will typically visit several customers in a given day. Importantly, technicians interface directly with our customers during site visits and are responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of customer service at all times.

  • Perform on-site performance testing, certification, and maintenance of cleanrooms, biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, isolators, and related controlled-environment equipment.

  • Document test results accurately and produce timely reports for clients.
  • Serve as the on-site face of Keystone with pharmaceutical, biotech, university, and advanced manufacturing customers.
