They are currently looking to add a Field Service Technician for their East Haven, Connecticut location. Looking for candidates to be based with 45 minutes of the area. The Hiring Manager is prior Military and understands what Veteran talent brings to the table.
In this role you, will be the face of the company. A Field Service Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment at customer sites. They diagnose technical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure equipment functions properly.
The role involves working directly with clients, providing training on equipment use, and maintaining service records. Technicians will travel to different locations, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with engineers and support teams to resolve complex problems efficiently. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting skills, be proficient with test equipment like volt meters and oscilloscopes, and read electrical prints. The role requires technical writing, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Travel is essential, with up to 50% domestic and some international travel required. Most Travel is by Air and usually 3 nights at a time. When not traveling, you will work in the East Haven location. They believe in a good family life balance.
Compensation is a base salary of $70k-75k with an annual Bonus plan as well as a Company Profit Sharing Plan (Roughly additional $9k per year). Full comprehensive Benefits and 401k.
