Field Service Tech - Weekly + Per Diem SAVARD is looking for a hands-on Field Technician to support pipe installation and jointing operations. The ideal candidate has worked with fiberglass, GRP pipe, or related experience, is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a field environment. This position requires travel throughout the United States, including travel to offshore sites wherever our field projects are located. Key Requirements:
Must have fiberglass, GRP pipe, composite, or related experience.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Monitor pipe installation and jointing to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed.
Identify, inspect, handle, and properly store pipes, fittings, and chemicals.
Prepare pipe and fitting surfaces for installation.
Joint pipes and fittings according to approved procedures.
Identify pipe and fitting defects and assist with repairs.
Conduct hydrostatic and deflection testing on installed lines.
Read and follow piping drawings, equipment manuals, and work instructions.
