Location: North Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $19–$21/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required based on operational needs)

Job Summary
The Field Service Technician supports customers across industrial and energy environments by performing hands?on equipment troubleshooting, inspections, and technical service. This role requires frequent travel (30–50%) to customer sites, including industrial facilities and rig locations, and demands a high level of independence, professionalism, and customer service. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, proactive problem solvers who can work safely and effectively in varying field conditions while maintaining strong communication with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues at customer sites
• Document inspections with accurate notes, photos, and recommended spare parts
• Perform inspections and identify potential equipment concerns proactively
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical concerns
• Respond to service calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Maintain accurate truck and warehouse inventory
• Track parts usage and inventory
• Communicate regularly with internal service teams to coordinate efforts
• Support routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment evaluations as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required; must be legally authorized to drive independently for work-related travel
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Field service experience in oil & gas or industrial equipment environments
