Position: IT Field Technician I (Printer & Hardware Support)
Pay Rate: $21.00+/hour
Location: Arvada, CO 80002 (Denver Metro Area – Field-Based)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch; overtime/after-hours as needed)

Position Overview
This role is primarily a field-based technician position, supporting multiple client sites including retailers and banks. The IT Field Technician I will be responsible for break-fix, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services, and general IT support across a variety of hardware and systems.
We are seeking candidates with strong experience in laser printers, plotters, and large-format printers, along with hands-on hardware repair and OEM service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to provide onsite IT support and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair issues with:
- Large format printers, laser printers, and plotters
- Kiosks, POS systems, laptops, desktops, and servers
- Perform IMAC and break-fix services
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide clear technical support to customers onsite and remotely
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Order and replace parts as needed
- Support user accounts, system access, and security groups as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong experience with hardware repair and break-fix (especially printers: Lexmark, HP, plotters, large format)
- Knowledge of PC, POS systems, and general IT infrastructure
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements:
- MVR, Drug and Background screening
- Reliable transportation
- Preferred: 2–5 years of relevant experience (training available for the right candidate)
- A+ Certification preferred (required within 6 months if not already obtained)
- Lexmark certifications and printer experience strongly preferred
- Associate degree or equivalent experience is a plus
