Pay Rate: $21.00-22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM On-Call/OT: Some overtime, after-hours, and on-call work required
Location: Sterling Heights, MI 48310 Field/Remote
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Travel: Up to 150 miles per day

Position Overview

We are hiring a Field Services Technician to provide onsite technical support at customer locations throughout the Sterling Heights area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and has experience troubleshooting and repairing printers and other technical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair printers, POS systems, computer hardware, and related equipment.
• Install and replace hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.
• Travel to customer locations to complete service calls.
• Perform basic installation work, including mounting equipment and running cables.
• Document completed work and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Participate in after-hours and on-call support when scheduled.

Requirements

• Drug and Background screening
• 1 2 years of related technical experience.
• Strong customer service and people skills.
• Printer repair/troubleshooting skills required.
• Basic computer hardware and networking knowledge preferred.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 150 miles per day.
• Candidates should live within approximately 20 miles of Sterling Heights, MI 48310.
• Comfortable working independently and interacting directly with customers.
