Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Itasca and Client Sites
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Compensation:$65-75K yrly
 

We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced CNC and electromechanical equipment at customer sites. This role is ideal for a technically strong problem-solver who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and working on complex machinery in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, and perform preventive maintenance on machines at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related equipment issues
  • Provide on-site customer training on machine operation and basic maintenance
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused service during all customer interactions
  • Provide remote technical support when not traveling
  • Support machine installations at trade shows and exhibitions as needed
  • Document service activities, findings, and corrective actions
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Associate degree, technical certification, trade school diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Automotive, or related fields
  • High school diploma required
  • 4+ years of hands-on electromechanical maintenance experience
  • 4+ years of experience working with modern CNC machinery
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic systems
    • CNC equipment and power tools
    • Blueprint and schematic interpretation
    • PLC fundamentals and basic C++ concepts
    • Mechatronics systems
