    As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional support to our internal and external customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Hands-on Equipment Lifecycle Support: Properly prepare for jobs by reviewing scopes of work, parts, and tools. Service, commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, handling warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency calls.
    • On-Site Operations & Safety Compliance: Maintain safe work habits on-site, strictly enforce safety rules, and keep all required MSHA certifications and training up to date.
    • Documentation & Continuous Quality Improvement: Maintain accurate field reports and CRM documentation. Launch internal quality cases to find long-term solutions, and communicate root causes, corrective actions, and product feedback directly to engineering and product management.
    • Relationship Building & Technical Training: Foster strong internal relationships with engineering, operations, and sales. Deliver elite customer service by training dealers and clients on-site as needed.
    • Travel, Logistics & Communication: Travel up to 75% domestically (with potential international travel). Clearly communicate your travel schedule with the Field Service Manager to balance your work-to-home life ratio, and report any tool repair or replacement needs.

    Qualifications & Key Competencies

    • Technical & Mechanical Expertise

    • Aptitude: Strong mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

    • Electronics & IT: Solid background in electronics paired with robust computer knowledge.

    • Schematics: Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics.

    • Heavy Machinery: Comfortable and confident working on and around large equipment.

    • Industry Experience

    • Sector Knowledge: Essential industry experience; direct familiarity with crushing, screening, conveying, and washing equipment is a major plus (but not required).

    • Professionalism & Communication

    • Mindset: Team-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a customer-first dedication to delivering exceptional service.

    • Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills tailored for both internal teams and external clients.

    • Education & Credentials

    • Education: High school graduate or equivalent; tech/trade school training is highly preferred.

    • Licensing: Valid State Driver's License required.
