We are currently hiring for a Field Service Technician.
What you will do in the position:
Field Test Planning
Works collaboratively with the Product Management and Engineering teams to define and create product field test strategy and plan for new product assessments
This collaborative effort includes but is not limited to, defining the number of test stores needed and the store characteristics needed to test the product thoroughly; identification of actual stores to test; definition of testing criteria and definition of success
Product Approval and Field Testing
Coordinates and confirms installation dates with Product
Management based on equipment availability and project schedules per associated Product Management and Engineering teams
Escalates any issues with acquiring the test equipment to ENG/PM/Service Leadership
Installs test equipment into locations determined by Product team
Regularly visits locations with test equipment to check on functionality, training needs of staff, and to document issues into the Engineering/Product Management system of choice
Assist Technical Support to diagnose and resolve technical issues at test locations, on the telephone, via email, or onsite as needed
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Ensures that we secure HME intellectual property and that it is not disclosed to Installers or Dealers that are not authorized
Works with Engineering and Product team on test store issues to assist with resolving them
Performs all other job duties as assigned.

Ability to install and maintain equipment in a QSR environment including drilling, cable and hardware installation
Requires ability to connect and diagnose top level network components
Experience
Minimum 2 years related field experience
Travel
Based out of Carlsbad corporate office, works on-site, remotely and at customer test locations regularly. Travel 5-10%.
The posted pay range, $25.73 - $34.28 per hour, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
