With deep expertise and innovative waste management technology across a growing nationwide footprint, Arcwood protects people, communities, and the environment through work that often happens behind the scenes.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesField Services Technician – Louisville, KentuckyAs a Field Services Technician you will be responsible for providing field work support on site-specific jobs to meet the goals of the project in a safe and conscientious manner while generating value and satisfaction to internal and external customers.Location/Schedule: The position reports to the Field Office and will be dispatched to projects in the region during the day. Report back to the office at the end of the day.Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all timesPrepares necessary supplies, tools, and other equipment for transport to worksiteCleans and scrapes the inside, and assists with the removal of, underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposalProvides demolition labor of contaminated buildings and land sites; operates excavation and filter press equipmentOperates small hand tools and provides other construction-related assistance during projectsDecontaminates Company equipment and toolsLoads, unloads and samples drums; responds to emergency spills as neededMaintains the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to project sitesTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationEducationHigh-school diploma or equivalent (required)ExperienceValid Driver's License (preferred)Due to the potential exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, this position requires individuals to be clean shaven at all times in order to don a respirator for protection.Benefits, Diversity & Equal OpportunityArcwood offers stability you can count on and opportunities to grow.
