The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing beam pumping units to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance, and working in the field to support production operations while adhering to safety standards and company procedures and working in demanding outdoor environments
Responsibilities
Work with basic hand tools on daily basis
Work outside on a daily basis for long hours, in extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold)
Install, repair and maintain the operating condition of pumping units
Maintain and perform safety inspections on equipment and tools.
Repair or maintain the operating condition of pumping units
Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
Properly rig materials to be lifted
Complete all required field paperwork for job location and DOT
Understand and follow all Liberty Lift Standard Operating Procedures. Lock-out/Tag-out procedure
Drive company trucks to and from job sites
Maintain proper housekeeping of vehicles and job locations
Assist in responsibility for the safety and welfare of the job site including fellow team members, customers and third-party vendor
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
2+ years of experience in oilfield services, mechanical maintenance, or artificial lift systems preferred
Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures in field operations
Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment (50+ lbs), climbing, and performing manual labor
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL Class A preferred
Ability to work as part of a team
Experience with crane rigging and safe lifting practices preferred
