Field Service Technician

A busy equipment manufacturer located in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team.  Pay rate: $33-$38/hr.  Person will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting water treatment equipment (Filtration, Reverse Osmosis and Deionization), exchanging service deionization tanks and completing necessary paperwork. Currently 30% travel to Customer locations, within a two-hour travel distance from Montgomeryville.  Responsibilities include troubleshooting, mechanical fabrication and testing, repairs, system cleaning, disinfection, calibrations and other required services. Responsibilities : Perform routine maintenance on High Purity Water Treatment Systems at Customers sites i.e. filter changes, portable DI/Carbon tank exchanges, RO cleanings and sanitizations, UV lamp and quartz sleeve replacements, loop sanitizations and equipment calibrations;  Perform emergency service for Customers, as required, to change portable DI/Carbon tanks, fix leaks and/or equipment malfunctions;  Fill out service reports detailing maintenance performed and equipment / system status;  Provide thorough documentation of all work, parts, and time in accordance with SOPs.   Job requirements: Must be able to pass a DOT physical; Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test; Must have a clean driving record.   #IND
